I have worked while in college as a math and biology tutor. While at UC San Diego I also worked as a teaching assistant for a lower division biology class. I have tutored reading in a literacy program while living in San Diego where I worked with adult learners with illiteracy. I have also coached youth volleyball for 17 years. For the last 16 years I have worked in public health in communicable disease epidemiology.
